Description
This beautiful Sterling Silver 2 Strand Double Headband has 2 strands of silver that have a highly polished finish. You can wear it as a Wedding band, Tiara or Alice Band. Perfect to hold your hair back on any occasion!

The double headband:
Each Double headband has 2 thick domed silver strands that are joined at the ends by a strip of ‘corrugated’ silver. The corrugated silver has a ripple effect that provides an excellent grip in your hair. The ends are also bent slightly inwards. The silver measures 3.2mm/0.13″ wide and is 1.6mm/0.06″ deep. The strands are slightly parted at the front of the band.
We can also make the double headband with hammering detail, which you can see in the 6th picture (and let me know if you would like it hammered when ordering).
The Silver 2 strand Headband is very strong but also slightly flexible (so you can adjust its shape gently if you need).
The headband extends over the ears and just beyond to ensure a comfortable fit. It has an approximate diameter of 12cm/4.7″ wide and 14cm/5.5″ long.
If you require a different dimension let me know when ordering. You can see a slimmer/longer headband in the last picture (width of 11cm, length of 16cm).
Please note that as you are buying a hand-made item the band may not be exactly the same as in the photos, but you will receive a very similar, gorgeous and unique 2-strand headband. The 2 strand silver head band weighs approximately 45gm/1.60 ounces in total.
The single headband:
In March 2020 we were asked to make a Single Headband using the same domed silver as the double headband. You can see this in the 8th picture. This single headband will not keep its shape as well as the Double Headband, and will need adjusting back into shape when removing it from your head (which you can do by holding the middle of each side and gently pushing it back into shape). It has the same dimensions as the double headband.

CUSTOMS AND IMPORT DUTIES: Packages sent from Spain to any country outside the EU (which includes the United Kingdom from 1st January 2021), may attract customs or import duties when the package arrives. You must pay any additional monies for customs clearance or you will not receive your parcel. We neither have the control over these charges that are levied, nor can we predict what they may be. We cannot refund these charges.
Currently we are unable to sell any products to the USA because of the Delivery Duty Paid Tax requirements but we are working on a solution.
