Description

This beautiful and unusual sterling silver petal ring is made of several slices of silver sheet that have been fused together, curled over and heavily textured to make a ring with 5 differently shaped petals. (Personally, I’m calling it a ‘petrified petal’ ring!).

The inside of the petals have been treated with liver of sulphur to blacken the surface slightly.  It has then been polished back in places to expose the silver again.

The band of the ring is flat and thick and is currently made to a size UK U (US 10 1/4), but this can be remade to a larger or smaller size, whatever size you need, just let me know (or ask me if you are not sure of sizing or you can check on this link).

The petals measure 3cm 2″ across (1.18″), and rise up between 1.5-2cm from the ring base. It weighs approximately 9gm.
