contactBeautiful and inspired sterling silver, 9ct gold and copper jewellery designed and hand-made by Lesley Furber for La Luna de Plata.

All Sterling Silver items can be stamped ‘925’.  Sterling Silver Jewellery weighing over 7.7g can be hallmarked, in accordance with British Assay Office standards.

If you want items marked with my personal, registered, hallmark this will incur an extra cost (likely to be £20 but this will be confirmed) and also a time delay in delivering the item(s) to you (as they will need to be posted to the London Assay Office for testing and processing of my registered sterling silver hallmark). And, guess what, Brexit affects hallmarking too! – you can read more details here.

How La Luna de Plata Sterling Silver Jewellery was born:

In 2006, on holiday with friends in a small white-washed village in Andalucia, Southern Spain, I found inspiration for the name of my new sterling silver jewellery business!

One moonlit, starry, warm night, a group of Spanish, English and Irish friends were sat around a bonfire, just outside the village.  One of the village locals asked me if I knew the Spanish word for the moon? ‘La Luna’ I cried!

Then….. that was it, the name I was looking for and La Luna de Plata (silver moon) was born!

Enchanted with Andalucia, I bought a little, traditional, spanish house in a tiny pueblo on a hill directly over-looking the mediterranean.  I am in Spain for a large part of the year and life here is good – and my jewellery studio has beautiful views over the sea!

Sadly, we now need to sell our lovely house, and you can see the full details here.
